XSI DISPLAY
1. #1 displays the shutter speed.
2.#2 displays the aperture.
3.#3 displays white balance. this setting will change the appearence of the white depending on what type of lighting you have.

RULE OF THIRDS
2. rule of thirds is when your subject in the photograph is one of the thirds of the picture.

SHUTTER SPEED
1. The shutter speed that this photgrapher used was a fast shutter speed because the photgrapher capurted a stopped motion.
2.The technique that this photogrpaher used was capturing this photograph with a slow shuuter speed that was he could show the motion of the lights that are comming from the cars as they go by. The setting that this photogrpher most likely used would be the Tv setting. The number would be shown as a low number on your display.

APERTURE
1. The photgrapher used a wide aperture in the first photograph. You can notice this because everythings in focus. The impact that this has on the photograph is that it decreases the depth of field and keeps everything in focus. The aperture would most likel be F22
2. The photgrapher used a narrow aperture in the second photograph. You can notice because the feet are the only thing that are in focus in the photo. The impact this has on the photgraph is that i keeps only one things in focus and makes that one thing stand out the most. This aperture would most likely be F3.5
3. If you were shootting a group of people in good lighting and wanted them all in focus you would use a wide aperture because it will keep everthing in focus and it will also allow for more light to be let into the photograph.
4. depth of field is the amount of focus that is in your photograph. a wide aperture decreases the depth of field and evertyhing in the photograph is in focus. with a narrow aperture there in an increase in the depth of field and theres only one certain object that's in focus in the photograph.
