photo critique 2

2.The shutter speed the photographer may have used would be a fast shutter speed because theres not a whole lot of light that was let into the picture also the motion of the jelly fish were captured but also stopped.
3.The lighting in this picture contributes to the overall mood because it gives you the feeling of being in a dark place such as under the water where the jelly fish would be. also the lighting shows the brightness of the jelly fish and how they stand out. if this photograph was shot with bad lighting ccondition the jelly fish wouldn't stand out as much as they do, also the water behind them would be more dark and the icture would come out darker.
4.Yes this picture demonstrates the rule of thirds because the jelly fish on the top right would be in the top right intersection also the jelly fish below it would be in the bottom right intersection.

2.The photographer used a fast shutter speed because the motion was captured and stopped.
3.The lighting in this photograph allows the picture to show that this had day light. It gives the picture a tone of being outside. If this photograph was shot under bad lighting condition it wouldn't be as clear as it is also it wouldn't show as much detail or give it the same mood.
4.Yes this photograph demonstrates the rule of thirds because the motorcyle would be on the bottom left intersection.

1.This photographer may have used a narrow aperture of f22. The elements that show this is that everything in this photo is in focus.
2.This photographer may have used a slow shutter speed. You can tell because you can see the movement in the photographer and it wasn't stopped.
3.The lighting in this picture was very little and the slow shutter speed allowed for more light to be let in and the litle lighting allowed the picture to have a serious mood. The photo wouldn't show as much light or movement if it were to be taken in bad lighting.
4.Yes this photograph demonstrates the rule of thirds because the two people before they moved would both be in an intersection.

final exam
???
1. Leading line
XSI DISPLAY TOP
1. The Tv setting is used for when you are capture motion it allows you to change the time of the shutter. The Av setting allows you to change the depth of field.
2. This camera is a SLR
XSI DISPLAY
1. #1 displays the shutter speed.
2.#2 displays the aperture.
3.#3 displays white balance. this setting will change the appearence of the white depending on what type of lighting you have.
RULE OF THIRDS
2. rule of thirds is when your subject in the photograph is one of the thirds of the picture.
SHUTTER SPEED
1. The shutter speed that this photgrapher used was a fast shutter speed because the photgrapher capurted a stopped motion.
2.The technique that this photogrpaher used was capturing this photograph with a slow shuuter speed that was he could show the motion of the lights that are comming from the cars as they go by. The setting that this photogrpher most likely used would be the Tv setting. The number would be shown as a low number on your display.
APERTURE
1. The photgrapher used a wide aperture in the first photograph. You can notice this because everythings in focus. The impact that this has on the photograph is that it decreases the depth of field and keeps everything in focus. The aperture would most likel be F22
2. The photgrapher used a narrow aperture in the second photograph. You can notice because the feet are the only thing that are in focus in the photo. The impact this has on the photgraph is that i keeps only one things in focus and makes that one thing stand out the most. This aperture would most likely be F3.5
3. If you were shootting a group of people in good lighting and wanted them all in focus you would use a wide aperture because it will keep everthing in focus and it will also allow for more light to be let into the photograph.
4. depth of field is the amount of focus that is in your photograph. a wide aperture decreases the depth of field and evertyhing in the photograph is in focus. with a narrow aperture there in an increase in the depth of field and theres only one certain object that's in focus in the photograph.

third element

1. The method that worked the best for me was selecting color range and making the person white first and the background behind them black, and then i changed the color of them by using the solid color option. After this i selected a new layer and did the same thing but the opposite and instead of selecting a solid color for the next layer i chose a background.
2. I created the product above by using the method that worked the best for me, and i also added another layer and used the text icon to put the smiley face in the picture. Adding a third element to the final product gave it more demention.
